Terry Karpen (Denver, CO) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- February 25, 2007 Dearest Joanne, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time. I'm so glad that my mom and I got to see Dick (and you) last summer when we were visiting Denver. From that visit, I'll always remember how he took us out back and proudly showed off his new Corvette and Harley. I'll also always remember the story about his taking Mom on a Harley ride in the past. That would have been a great picture! I will miss him and his hearty laughter. My love to you, Donny, and Roper. I look forward to giving all of you hugs, in person, in the near future. Ellen Cole (Kuna, ID) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- February 22, 2007 Colorado trips won't be quite the same without Uncle Dick and his fun "stories". We will miss him! All our love to you and Uncle Joe. Love and prayers, Mike, Becky, Jordan and Allie Clemons Becky Clemons (Kearney, MO) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- February 20, 2007 My Dearest Aunt Joanne, Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you through this difficult time. I had no idea that Uncle Dick had fallen ill. I was quite surprised when I received the news on Wednesday. What a wonderful man he was. I will not forget all that the two of you done for me during my Dad's illness. I don't know where I would have been without you. You guys were my rock through that entire time. I also have some wonderful memories of Uncle Dick that will never be forgotten. I remember all the trips to the cabin when I was young and also going motorcycle riding when we were up at the cabin. Remember when we were all going out one Sunday afternoon and we were all ready to go with our motorcycle clothes on and you came walking out in your orange and white polka dot bikini? I will never forget that as long as I live and I will never forget the look on Uncle Dicks face when he seen you ready to ride in your bikini. (your sun suit as he referred to it). That was priceless. Please know that we will hold you close in our hearts and will pray for your comfort through this difficult time. Please know we love you and we will be thinking of you.
